To the editor:

I am proud and excited to endorse a fully Indiana certified peace officer for Jackson County sheriff, Rick Meyer.

Rick is a dedicated family man that believes in living as well as teaching his children moral values.

He is a community leader that is respected and has been a leader that leads by example.

He is a merit Jackson County sheriff deputy that backs down from no one. After being shot by a criminal twice, he showed his bravery and commitment to Jackson County by returning to the streets quickly to protect and serve our citizens.

My friend, Rick Meyer, will be an outstanding Jackson County sheriff.
