Overturned semitrailer restricting I-65 traffic flow north of Jonesville

Update at 7:34 a.m.: The crash involving the overturned semitrailer has been cleaned up, but a second wreck that occurred in the northbound lanes near the 57-mile-marker has traffic backed up, according to Sgt. Stephen Wheeles with the Indiana State Police.

That second wreck has led to the closure of the left northbound lane, said Wheeles, who is public information officer for the Versailles Post.

He said that wreck should be cleared up shortly.

6:01 a.m.: State troopers are at the scene of an overturned semitrailer in the northbound lanes of Interstate 65 near the 58-mile-marker.

Sgt. Stephen Wheeles is reporting one lane is open at this time and he is urging motorists to use caution in the area of the incident north of the Jonesville Exit.
