Motorists rescued from floodwaters on Thursday

Local police, including Jackson County officers Rob Henley and Jesse Hutchinson, were called to County Road 700E, just south of County Road 857N, to retrieve two motorists caught in floodwaters of the East Fork White River north of Seymour on Thursday. There was at least one other incident of motorists caught in floodwaters on Thursday. That incident occurred in Crothersville area.
