Flooding to continue until Monday afternoon

The East Fork White River at Rockford rose above flood stage of 12 feet Wednesday afternoon and is expected to climb to 15.6 feet early Saturday morning before gradually falling.

At 15 feet, lowland agricultural flooding is in progress and County Road 752N near Rockford floods, according to the National Weather Service. At 15.6 feet, several additional roads close, including County Road 25N through Honeytown, Slab Road between the river and Ewing, Rockford Road near the skating rink and State Road 235 from Medora to Indiana 135.

The river is not expected to fall below flood stage until 2 p.m. Monday.
