Immanuel Lutheran Guild March Meeting

Immanuel Lutheran Guild conducted a regular meeting March 6 in the fellowship hall of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour.

President Linda Eggersman opened the meeting, and the group sang Hymn 435 “Come to Calvary’s Holy Mountain.”

Vicar Coleman Geraci spoke about the cross and its significance to Christians. The cross of Christ is the answer.

Reports were given on the annual nut sale and the cookie walk. Yearbooks were distributed to the members.

“Odds and Ends” was the theme for the evening. The tables were decorated in variety of holidays. There also was a variety of desserts, including brownies, cherry delight and lemon pound cake.

Marie Harmon read a devotion titled “Silent Witnesses.” The door prize was given to Rachel Geraci.

Hostesses for the evening were chairwoman Carol Denny, Karen Habenicht and Norma Pollert.
