Exhibit scheduled at arts center

A woodworking exhibit is being planned for April 7 through 28 at Southern Indiana Center for the Arts, 2001 N. Ewing St., Seymour.

“Out of the Woods, Into the Arts” is designed to allow area woodworkers to share their love of their hobby.

Woodworkers may bring two pieces of woodwork for display. Pieces can be any style. Items must be ready to hang, if applicable.

Items may be dropped off at SICA from 3 to 7 p.m. April 3 and 5; noon to 5 p.m. April 4; noon to 6 p.m. April 6; or by appointment.

Artists may sell their work. Each piece may be marked with a selling price. Artists will receive 70 percent of the profit from items sold, and SICA will receive 30 percent. Artists can expect to receive their earnings within three weeks of the close of the exhibit.

All items should be picked up from the center from noon to 5 p.m. May 2 through 5.
