Brownstown Central High School DECA Club members attended the State Career Development Conference on March 4, 5 and 6 in Indianapolis.

The chapter earned Thrive Level recognition in DECA’s chapter campaigns. Because of this, Brownstown DECA has earned spots for three of its members to go to the Thrive Academy at the International Career Development Conference in April in Atlanta, Georgia.

The Thrive Academy will focus on necessary skills, such as communication, collaboration and creativity, in order to build a stronger chapter.

Also at the state conference, Brownstown DECA adviser Robin Perry was given an award for 10 years of service to DECA as an adviser.
