Alice Christine Adams, 80, of Seymour, passed away on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Hickory Creek Nursing Home in Scottsburg. She was born in Danville, Illinois on January 4, 1938 to the late Cecil G. and Roselda E. (Carnahan) Allen.

Funeral services will be at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Tuesday, March 13 at 1:30 pm with Rev. Steve Barrett officiating. Burial will follow at Hayden Cemetery.

Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Monday from 4-8 pm and on Tuesday from 12:30 pm until time of service.

She was a graduate of Columbus North High School, class of 1958. On June 8, 1963, at Free Methodist Church of Columbus, she married Charles F. Adams; he preceded her in death on March 30, 1992.

She is survived by her children, Robin D. Adams, Shawn P. Adams (Becky), Melissa (Clark) Arnold, Robert C. Adams and Daniel J. Adams; 5 grandchildren, Matthew, Clark Jr., Levi, Kristine and Micah; 2 great-grandchildren, Cecilia and Lucas; brothers, Mike Allen and Tom Allen; and a sister, Connie Dooley.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Edgar Allen; nephew, Terry Allen; and sister-in-law, Becky Allen.
