The 10th annual D-Vine Wine & Beer Festival will be from 1 to 7 p.m. March 24 at The Commons, 300 Washington St., Columbus.

The event, benefiting and organized by Developmental Services Inc., will feature at least 16 area vendors offering wine, beer or distilled drinks. Snacks also will be available for purchase.

Last year’s 21-and-older event attracted 750 people, 22 vendors and raised $20,000 for DSI, according to the fundraiser’s leaders. The year before, it attracted 900 people and raised $22,000.

DSI is a nonprofit agency established in 1975 serving children and adults with disabilities in more than 40 Indiana counties, including Jackson. It provides early intervention, residential living options, job training and placement, community connections, after-hour activities, computer literacy, cooking classes, health and wellness and more to help individuals live more independently.
