The Sauers 4-H Club met Feb. 12 at St. John’s Lutheran School-Sauers.

President Kenny Hessong called the meeting to order. The pledges were led by secretary Amelia Hessong.

Nolan Teipen gave the devotions. Amelia Hessong led roll call and then read the minutes from the previous meeting and the treasurer’s report.

A song was led by Brooklyn Bottorff. She and Brady Sawyer gave the health and safety report.

Kenny Hessong gave a demonstration about the basics of beekeeping, and recreation was led by Brocker Bottorff.

Refreshments were provided by Brooklyn and Brocker Bottorff, Parker Broshears and Trenton Burton.

The next meeting will be from 7 to 8 p.m. March 12 at St. John’s Lutheran School-Sauers.
