The Brownstown Town Council’s next meeting has been moved to 6 p.m. Tuesday at the town hall, 200 W. Walnut St., because of Monday being Presidents Day.

The meeting is open to the public and press.

An executive session at 5:30 p.m., however, is closed to the public and press. The purpose of that meeting is to discuss the purchase of real estate.

The town council normally meets at 6 p.m. on the first and third Mondays of the month unless it falls on a major holiday. In that instance, the meeting is moved to the day after the holiday.
