Cougars fall on road
NEW ALBANY
Christian Academy of Indiana built a 35-27 by halftime to edge Trinity Lutheran 75-68 on Thursday.
The Cougars trailed 16-13 after eight minutes of play and were outscored 19-14 in the second quarter.
Trinity held the Warriors to 13 points in the third quarter, but both teams scored 27 points before the final buzzer as CAI held on for the win.
Tyler Goecker led the Cougars with 21 points and Jacob Rowe added 19 points on five 3-pointers.
The Cougars (6-14) will host sectional foe Edinburgh on Tuesday.
