The Jackson County Commissioners will meet at 9 a.m. today at the courthouse annex, 220 E. Walnut St., Brownstown.

Agenda items including the opening of bids for trucks for the highway department; discussion of a letter of support for Indiana Department of Correction’s grant for the Jackson Jennings Community Corrections program and two contracts involving the health department; and discussion for approval of a Community Workforce Development Grant for the Jackson County Learning Center.

Commissioners meetings are open to the public and press.
