Paula Diane McDowell, 44, of Seymour, passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2017, at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born on July 9, 1973, in Seymour, to Paul and Leoda (Green) Tincher.

On July 13, 1995, she married Patrick “Pat” McDowell; he survives. She was a housewife and mother who enjoyed caring for her family. She liked her animals, camping and listening to music.

She is survived by her husband, Pat McDowell; children, Tiffany Brooke McDowell and Amber Nicole Boyd; sisters, Leah (Louis) Rusch and Barb Galliher; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Gary Tincher and Kevin Tincher; and brother-in-law, Danny Galliher.

Funeral services will be at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Tuesday, January 2 at 11 am with Rev. R.D. Raney officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.

Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Monday from 4-8 pm and on Tuesday from 10 am until time of service.
