Church set for service on Christmas Eve

Brownstown Christian Church will conduct Christmas Eve services at 5 and 11 p.m. Sunday in the sanctuary of the church, 703 W. Spring St., Brownstown.

The 5 p.m. service is specially designed for families and children. The Christmas story told in story form will be the centerpiece of the evening. The service will close with communion and a candlelit singing “Silent Night.”

The 11 p.m. service will be comprised of Old Testament readings of the promise of the Savior’s coming to this world as well as the traditional Christmas story from the book of Luke. There will be traditional Christmas hymns, vocal and instrumental solos and a message by Lead Minister Mitchell McIntyre. The evening will conclude with a candlelight singing of “Silent Night.”

The doors will open at 4:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., respectively.

The services are open to anyone who wishes to attend.
