Glen Leroy Delph, 57, of Freetown, passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at Schneck Medical Center. Born June 4, 1960 in Seymour, he was the son of Simon Delph Jr. and Al and Maxie Marie (Neal) Bequeret.

Glen was a member of the First Baptist Church of Freetown and was a newspaper delivery person. He loved fishing and walking through the woods. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, especially his nephew “little Bob”. He always made it a tradition to pick up his niece Holly and eat marshmallows with her. Glen especially loved his dogs Princess, Giglet and Szu Szu.

Survivors include his wife, Kathy (Spurling) Delph; his parents, Al and Maxie Marie Bequeret; his daughter, Christina; his siblings, Betty (Tom) Branum, Walter Dean Delph, Mona (Robert) Taylor, Al (Brenda) Bequeret III, Michael (Arlene) Delph and several nieces and nephews.

Glen was preceded in death by his dad, his brother Harold Delph, his grandparents, George and Grace Neal, Simon and Zima Delph; his niece Holly Marie Delph and nephew Homer Delph.

Funeral service will be held at 12 PM Friday, December 22, 2017 at the Woodlawn Freetown Chapel. Visitation will be from 10 AM until the time of service at 12 on Friday at the Woodlawn Freetown Chapel. Burial will follow at Kurtz Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers family request memorials are given to the Glen Delph Memorial Fund.
