Jackson County Public Library plans to offer an art program for children ages 3, 4 and 5 at 10:30 a.m. Wednesdays from Jan. 3 to Feb. 28 at the library, 303 W. Second St., Seymour.

Participants in Masterpiece Masters will have the opportunity to strengthen fine motor skills using various mediums and experience new art and techniques while gaining kindergarten-readiness skills such as paper cutting, painting and pasting, according to a news release from the library.

Children will be taught on an individual level as well as working together as a group.
