Mrs. Margaret “Joan” Voss, 89, of Seymour passed away on Friday, December 8, 2017, at Lutheran Community Home.

She was born on October 30, 1928, in Brownstown, to the late Wilson and Edith (Nowling) Holeman.

On November 23, 1946, she married Kenneth A. Voss; he preceded her in death.

She was a lifetime member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. She was a homemaker and foster grandparent at Redding School for many years. Joan was a member of the Epsilon Sigma Alpha Beta Kappa Sorority Chapter for 11 years.

She is survived by her children, Penny Garrison, Cindy (Pat) Ruddick and Clint Voss; grandchildren, Chris (Julie)Voss, Amy (Darin) Pruden, Cheyne Voss, Suzy (James) Carmer, Marc (Jody) Ruddick, Josh (Amy) Voss, Rachel Voss and Molly (Tyler) Davis; 15 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Willadean Cockerham, Donna Owens and Sue Riley.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Gary Voss; grandsons, Tim and Scotty; and sister, Betty Kriete.

Graveside services will be conducted by Voss & Sons Funeral Service at Riverview Cemetery on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Philip Bloch officiating. Family and friends may gather at Voss and Sons Funeral Service on Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m.
