The Brownstown Church of the Nazarene is reaching out to the community to say “thank you” to everyone who has made a difference in the community including police, firefighters, sheriff’s department, emergency medical technicians, paramedics, teachers, military and business people.

The special service allowing anyone who wants to just to say “Thank you — we appreciate you” will be at 6 p.m. Jan. 14 at the church at 616 W. Commerce St.

The public is invited to attend the service to say thank you to our businesses and those who serve us, according to a news release from the church.
