Elizabeth “Betty” Libby, 56, of Seymour, passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2017, at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born August 26, 1961, in Long Island, New York, to the late Frederick and Antoinette Libby.

She was an employee of KFC in Seymour for 15 years. She was a member of the Eagles Ladies Auxiliary and Moose Ladies Auxiliary. She loved swimming, either at the city pool or the beach in Florida. She was a great dancer and just an overall very social person.

She is survived by her companion, Rick Reichenbacker; brother, Herbert (Gail) Libby; sister, Jean (Nick) Bachovchin; nephews, Mike (Kim) and Tim; and niece, Katie.

She is preceded by her parents.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Eagles Club, 122 E 2nd St, Seymour, on Saturday, December 9, at 2:30 pm. Family and friends may begin to gather at the club from 1-2:30 pm.
