Theta Omega chapter of Phi Beta Psi sorority recently conducted its November business meeting at the American Legion Annex, where members set up for the following night’s basket bingo.

President Jackie Hill called the meeting to order and was assisted by Kalee Alberring and Janet Cooper.

Michele Lewis gave a profitable report for the fall Hen and Chicks Barn Market. The Pink Wagon Market committee and members discussed that event.

The bingo final plans were discussed. The 50/50 profit would be divided among two local women battling liver cancer and breast cancer.

The Feb. 3 dinner dance for cancer has been given the theme “Wonderland.” The annual event will be at Pewter Hall, and tickets are $75 per couple. Dance queen contestant letters have been sent with a meeting scheduled soon.

A motion was made and seconded to forward $500 to the Julie Ann Moore Gastrointestinal Research Fund at Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis.

The officers are planning a Christmas party at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 7 at the Alberring home.

THETO was won by Melanie Klakamp.
