The Immanuel Lutheran Guild conducted a regular meeting Oct. 2 in the fellowship hall of the Seymour church.
President Jackie Hill opened the meeting.
Vicar Coleman Geraci spoke about his background and his future plans, the movie “Reformation” and the importance of baptism. The reformation service will be at 4:30 p.m. Oct. 29 at Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Lisa Lewis spoke about the cookie walk, which is scheduled for Dec. 2.
Peggy Stark also announced the Christmas party will be Dec. 5.
Connie Roeder distributed order forms for the nuts the group is selling. Varieties available will be pecan (whole and pieces), walnuts, cashews and mixed nuts.
The tables were decorated in autumn colors and candy corn. Cake was served.
Linda Eggersman led the group in Martin Luther’s evening prayer.
Hostesses for the evening were chairwoman Carolyn Alberring, Brenda Darlage and Donna Runge.
