The Jackson County Council plans to conduct a special meeting at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the courthouse annex, 220 E. Walnut St., Brownstown, to wrap up its work on the 2018 budget.

Budget adoption is set for 6 p.m. Oct. 18 during the council’s monthly meeting at the courthouse annex.

Both meetings are open to the public and press.
