CROTHERSVILLE

Venessa Gail Stice, 64, of Crothersville, Indiana passed away Monday, September 4, 2017 in Crothersville, Indiana. Born August 23, 1953 in Seymour, Indiana , she was the daughter of the late Roy Milo and Virginia (Allen) Lewis.

On January 15, 1972 she married Don Stice, who survives. They were married for 45 years.

She worked at WalMart Supercenter in Seymour, Indiana for 19 years, a faithful member of the Faith Southern Baptist Church in Vallonia, Indiana for 7 years, where it wasn’t just a church but they were family to her as well. She was also baptized at Ivy Hill Baptist Church in Underwood, Indiana. and graduated from Crothersville High School in 1971.

Survivors include her husband, Don; sons, Donald Stice and Robert Stice, both of Crothersville; sister, Debra K. Day, North Vernon; grandchildren, Anthony Stice and Shelby Stice, North Vernon. She is also survived by 2 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Danny and David Lewis and a sister, Teresa Ann Couch.

Funeral Service is at Noon Friday, September 8, 2017 at Buchanan Funeral Home in Austin, Indiana with Rev. Greg Underwood officiating. Visitation will be 4 to 8 pm Thursday and 9 am to Noon Friday at Buchanan Funeral Home. Burial will be at Cana Cemetery in Uniontown, Indiana.
