Eric Matthew Otte of Columbus and Melissa Renee Lucas of Lehigh Acres, Florida, plan to marry at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, White Creek.

A reception will follow the service in the pavilion at the Bartholomew County 4-H Fairgrounds.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Leon and Robbie Lucas of Lehigh Acres, while the future groom is the son of Lester and Marsha Otte of Columbus.

She is a graduate of Palm Beach Atlantic University with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics. She is a crop insurance agent for Reuter Crop Insurance LLC.

He is a graduate of Vincennes University with a associate degree in diesel technology. He is a mechanical engineering technician with Cummins Inc.
