Work will take water tower out of service

Beginning this week, Crothersville’s 300,000-gallon water tower will be taken out of service for maintenance.

During the nearly monthlong process, town officials said they will do their best to maintain pressure for water users.

The water treatment plant will be running 24 hours a day. Pressure relief valves will be placed in different areas of town to bleed off extra pressure. This is a normal practice for this type of maintenance.

If any residents experience issues with water pressure, contact Crothersville Town Hall during normal business hours so the issue can be troubleshooted. The town hall is open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and from 8 a.m. to noon Wednesday.
