The Jackson County Public Library is conducting a free class called Going Places for children in kindergarten through fifth grade at the library, 303 W. Second St., Seymour.

Participants will step into different countries and experience new cultures through stories, crafts, music, snacks and other activities.

The schedule of programs includes Thailand on Sept. 14, Ukraine on Oct. 19 and Germany on Nov. 16. Each class will start at 4 p.m.

Registration is required, and there is a limit of 20 children.
