All Seasons Garden Club met Aug. 7 at Tampico Christian Church.

Hostess Peggy Broshears and co-hostess Veronica Bowling served a variety of salads topped off with Jackson County watermelon.

Bowling led a brief business meeting, and members were recognized for outstanding floral entries for the Jackson County Fair.

Becky Hackman shared a tip for preserving hydrangeas. Hackman also announced the Sept. 11 meeting will be at the home of Leann Evans near Freetown.

Sandy Kovener and Kathy Rush won door prizes. Each member went home with floral handbags made by Broshears and clay pots hand-painted with watermelons.
