SEYMOUR

Donn Duane Darsow, 89, of Seymour, passed away on August 25, 2017, at Lutheran Community Home. He was born January 25, 1928, in Albert Lea, Minnesota, and was raised by his aunt. On December 28,. 1952, he married Ida Mae Farlow, she survives. He was a research chemist and Professor of Chemistry. He was a member of United Church of Christ. He was an Army veteran. He loved reading and was a member of book discussion groups both as a participant and a leader. He enjoyed canoeing, camping, and hiking.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Ida Mae; son, Craig (Cheryl) Darsow; and grandchildren, Brian and Eric Darsow.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial services will be conducted by Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Tuesday, August 29, at 10 am at Lutheran Community Home Chapel, with Pastor Newman officiating.
