Local working group meetings of the Jackson County Soil and Water Conservation District will be at 9:30 a.m. Sept. 20 at Brownstown Christian Church and at 6:30 p.m. the same day at the Community Foundation of Jackson County in Seymour.

The purpose of the meetings is to provide input on the wide range of natural resource and agricultural concerns for Jackson County, according to a news release from the district.

The local working group provides recommendations about local natural resource priorities and criteria for conservation activities and programs, including the Environmental Quality Incentives Program, Clean Water Indiana grants, etc.
