Leprechauns 4-H Club

The Freetown Leprechauns 4-H Club met in August for its Achievement Night meeting.

Parents and guests enjoyed looking at all of the exhibits and achievements of the club members. Several of the projects were at the state fair and were not available for viewing.

A special program was given by Paul Eisenbraun, who is a gifted woodworker. He showed many interesting wood items that he has made.

Grant Elliott gave a health and safety lesson on precautions for safe traveling to and from school.

Kirsten Raisor gave devotions and she, Grant Elliott, Sabrina Sherrill-Long, Claire Elliott and Michael Long gave demonstrations. All members present participated in a judging contest by judging paintings that had been done by Aaron Kruse.

Samuel Long played a piano solo he had composed and performed in the creative dramatics project at the fair. The Long family also sang their song from their creative dramatics presentation.

Ten-year members recognized were Kruse and Ashley Kuhlman.

Claire Elliott won the achievement trophy.

Refreshments of cookies and punch were served to all.
