Fair winding down for 4-H’er

Today I didn’t have to be at the fair till 3 so me and my dad loaded up our breeding pigs and sold them.

When we got to the fair around 3, I had the 4-H rewards. I received a check for my reserve grand champion plant science and I got my brother’s rewards because he had to work.

After the picture for my reward, I went to pork producers/cattlemen and ate dinner.

Every year on Friday I work the afternoon shift for cattlemen association. This year I was in charge of serving applesauce, butter and sour cream. I worked there for three hours and then I got myself a ribeye and walked to the FFA building to meet Jasmine, and then I fed and watered the animals.

When we got done feeding, we walked around the tractor looking at all the ones my family has owned or I have driven. She left around 10:30 so I walked over to my friend Lynne’s cows and we walked for a few minutes till she took my hat and ran off. I stayed there for half a hour talking to her mom. Than I left to load up pigs. We loaded up our three gilts and my cousin Kelly’s gilt and went home.
