Jerry and Jan Morrison of Seymour celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary July 16 with a reception given by the bride’s sister and nieces at Reddington Christian Church.

Jerry Morrison and the former Jan Cummings were married July 16, 1977, at Reddington Christian Church. Pastor Bill Weaver officiated.

The couple have two children, Michael McGinley and Patrick McGinley; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Jan is retired from Cummings Lighthouse, while Jerry is retired from Cummings Electric Wholesale and Seymour Tubing.
