The Indiana Department of Transportation will close the northbound right lane and shoulder of Interstate 65 just north of U.S. 50 during overnight hours today, Wednesday and Thursday.
These 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. restrictions are to help with weight station construction north of the Seymour exit.
Rieth-Riley Construction Co. is the contractor for this $6.95 million project that involves the construction of new weigh stations and inspection barns along northbound and southbound I-65 at the 50.5-mile marker. Weigh-in-motion scales also are being placed nearby at State Road 11 and U.S. 31.
This week’s work involves installing conduit on the I-65 railroad bridge that will be used with I-65 camera monitors.
