Whitney Bearden and Blake Otte, both of Brownstown, plan to marry at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, July 29, 2017, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour. The Rev. Philip Bloch will officiate. A reception will follow at Chateau de Pique Winery in Seymour.

She is the daughter of Dennis and Cindy Black of Brownstown and Rick and Glenda Bearden of North Vernon and the granddaughter of Marcus and Connie Stockhover of Seymour and the late Lorenz and Janet Hauer.

He is the son of John and Shannon Otte of Brownstown and the grandson of Ronald and Barbara Otte of Brownstown, Tim and Mary Laird of Kokomo and Gene Calloway of Kokomo.

She is a registered respiratory therapist at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour, while he is a pork producer with East Fork Farms in Brownstown.
