Erin Murphy and Tyler Goodpaster, both of Seymour, plan to marry at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 9, 2017, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Sauers.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Charlie and Danielle Murphy of Seymour, while the future groom is the son of Tim and Sally Goodpaster of Seymour.

She is a 2010 graduate of Seymour High School. She received her undergraduate degree from Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne in 2013 and her graduate degree from the University of Indianapolis in 2015. She is a registered sales assistant at JCB and an eighth-grade girls basketball coach at Seymour Middle School.

He is a 2004 graduate of Seymour High School and attended Vincennes University. He works for the Indiana Department of Transportation and is a reserve deputy with the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department.
