Anytime Fitness in Seymour is conducting a supply drive for Red Sky Rescue, a nonprofit dog shelter in Medora.

From Wednesday to Aug. 16, Anytime Fitness members can bring in supplies all hours, while nonmembers may use the guest entrance to drop off items during staffed hours — 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Fridays and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays.

The fitness center is at 840 E. Tipton St.

Most needed items at Red Sky Rescue include Purina Dog Chow or other high-quality canned dog food, Purina Puppy Chow, rawhide chews, any size collars (medium is most common), leashes, new dog toys of all sizes (no stuffing), bleach, Dawn original dish liquid, liquid laundry soap, 30-gallon drawstring trash bags, paper towels, old newspapers (no glossy inserts), 10-by-13 envelopes, No. 10 business envelopes, clear sheet protectors, AA batteries for a camera, black markers, duct tape and 7- or 8-inch zip or cable ties.

There also will be an adoption event starting at 4 p.m. July 24 at Anytime Fitness. Red Sky Rescue will have a few dogs available for adoption.

Red Sky Rescue, 8305 W. County Road 150N, also is in great need of dedicated volunteers for a wide variety of activities.
