The congregation of Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church plans to conduct an old-fashioned tent revival at 7 p.m. July 21 and 22 and the annual barbecue dinner from 11 a.m to 6 p.m. July 22.

The revival will feature the Rev. Bruce Martin, an evangelist and activist who will deliver the message at the church at 200 S. Lynn St., Seymour.

Barbecue dinners are $8, and sandwiches are $5. The Rev. Samuel L. Sumner, a north district elder, will do the grilling.
