PORT ORANGE, Fla.

James Everett Lamb, 76, of Port Orange, Florida, formerly of North Vernon, died Sunday, July 2, 2017, at Halifax Health Hospice.

Survivors include his wife, Diana Lamb; sons, Kenneth (Karen) Lamb of Bettendorf, Iowa, and Michael (Daisy) Lamb of Eldridge, Iowa; daughters, Kelly (Tracey) Nolan and Tracie Walp, all of North Vernon; mother, Bernice Owens of Columbus; sisters, Margaret (Wade) Goodin of Taylorsville and Nancy (Roger) Nichtor of Columbus; 19 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon with the Rev. Jim Terry officiating. Burial will be at  Vernon Cemetery with military graveside rites.

Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
