SCOTTSBURG

Betty Copple, 78, of Scottsburg died Friday, June 30, 2017, at her home.

Survivors include three sons, Paul L. Copple and Steve W. Copple, both of Scottsburg and Michael T. (Lois) Copple of Seymour; a daughter, Diana L. (Scott) Cole of Scottsburg; five brothers, Dwight (Julie) Nicholson of Arkansas, Dwayne (Janice) Nicholson of Chicago, Illinois, Delmar (Ruby) Nicholson of Austin, Donnie Nicholson of Tennessee and Charles Burnett of Utah; a sister, Darlena (Tom) Halstead of Utah; 18 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul E. Copple and a son, David J. Copple.

The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Collins Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Biggs officiating. Interment will be at Barnes Community Cemetery near Nabb.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m.until time of service Wednesday.
