Ball State University recently released the names of students who graduated after the spring semester and those named to the dean’s list.

Local graduates and their degrees by hometowns are:

Seymour

Bachelor of Science: Abigail Morrow, Abby Thompson, Mindy Velez, Jessica Waltrip, Whitney Wooten (cum laude)

Bachelor of Arts: Patrick Reedy

Brownstown

Master of Arts: Peyton Wischmeier

Vallonia

Bachelor of Science: Alex Hawkins

Local students named to the dean’s list include Darrell Branaman, Garrett McAdams and Madison McGinnis, all of Brownstown; and Molly Crenshaw, Haley Kimble, Grace Moore, Fabian Munoz, Tanner Prewitt, Jennifer Rodman, Hannah Winter and Whitney Wooten, all of Seymour.

The dean’s list recognizes undergraduates who earn at least a 3.5 grade-point average for 12 or more credits of graded coursework during a semester or for six or more credits of graded coursework during a summer term.
