Extension office plans mini day camp


Purdue Extension Jackson County plans to conduct a mini day camp from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 12 at the Jackson-Washington State Forest, 1278 E. State Road 250, Brownstown.

This workshop is open to all Jackson County 4-H mini members in kindergarten through second grade.

4-H volunteers will be at the event to assist with fishing and hiking activities, among other nature happenings. Members are asked to bring a sack lunch for the day.

Any 4-H’ers wishing to participate should call the extension office at 812-358-6101 to preregister for the workshop by July 5.
