James Walter Stegner, 62, of Commiskey died Sunday, May 28, 2017, at his home.

Survivors include his daughters, Sara (John) Beal and Shauna (Brad) Summers, all of North Vernon; a sister, Jeanette Anderson of Springville; and six grandchildren.

A celebration of life and sharing will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday at the home of Kevin and Susan Beal, 3225 N. County Road 100 E., North Vernon.

Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon handled the arrangements.

Memorials may be sent through the funeral home to Coffee Creek Conservation Club or Schneck Medical Center Foundation.
