Daren Cowles and Dekota Atha, both of Seymour, are the parents of a newborn, Preslee Rae Cowles.

Born on April 5, 2017, at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour, she weighed 6 pounds, 12 ounces and was 19½ inches long.

Grandparents are Amy (Kevin) Cockerham and Tim Atha and Shari (Tony) Oakes and Jason (Susie) Cowles, all of Seymour.
