Ralph E. Pardieck, 88, of Seymour, passed away Friday, April 7, 2017, at Schneck Medical Center.

Born July 12, 1928, in Seymour Ralph was the son of Walter H. and Leona M. Rittman Pardieck. He married Marian Ruth McNiece on Aug. 23, 1953, in Brownstown.

Ralph was a successful, self-made businessman all of his life, having worked alongside his father selling farm equipment for Pardieck Sales and Service. He and Ruth founded the Village Green Mobile Home Community and Ralph also established Pardieck Aviation, NPS Water Supply, Onyx Paving Co., Seymour Powersports & Equipment and Chateau De Pique Winery. He enjoyed his hobby of raising white-faced Hereford cattle and his travels all over the world, but especially loved his time spent with his grandchildren.

Ralph was a U.S. Army veteran having served during the Korean War.

He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, American Legion Post 89, an honorary lifetime member of the Indiana Manufactured Housing Association and the Manufactured Housing Institute of Washington, D.C.

Ralph is survived by his wife of 63 years, Marian Ruth; two sons, Gregory Dierk Pardieck and Ken Bradley (Rhonda) Pardieck; three grandchildren, Seth Brandon Pardieck, Marcie Celeste Pardieck and Zachary Dierk Pardieck; and a sister, Imogene Trimpe.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Harold Pardieck; and sister, Charlotte Lucas.

The funeral service will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church with the Rev. Ralph Blomenberg, Rev. Philip Bloch and Rev. Jimmy Rodriguez officiating. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until time of service Tuesday at the church.

Mr. Pardieck’s burial will be held privately.
