Rosemary Findley, 82, of Seymour, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2017, at Schneck Medical Center.

Born Aug. 21, 1934, she was the daughter of William E. Spray Sr. and Emma Combs Spray, both of whom preceded her in death. On Aug. 6, 1954, at Henninger Methodist Church in Indianapolis, she married Billy M. Findley, who survives.

She was a 1952 graduate of Shields High School and was a member of Rockford United Methodist Church where she was active in the women’s mission activities. She worked in the Schneck Hospital Guild for 37 years and was a past president of the guild board. She came up with the current name for the gift shop, Blings and Things. She enjoyed her Red Hat Club and was a member of TOPS of Seymour. One of her favorite hobbies was coloring. She was the best Granny ever. She was known for her fantastic cooking and her minute steak and mac-n-cheese kept her family coming back for more.

Other survivors include a son, Jon William (Lisa) Findley; a daughter-in-law, Penny Findley-Seward; six grandchildren, Jill (Michael) Horne, Erin (Jason) Hallett, Carrie (Dan) Ross, Jordan Findley, Joshua Findey and Jalyn Findley; eight great-grandchildren, Jaleigh Buck, Jaleb Buck, Jayden Ross, Emmah Horne, Cheyenne Hallett, Justice Ross, Carter Hallett and Jackson Ross; and a brother, William E. Spray Jr.

Besides her parents; she was preceded in death by a sister, Faye Lahne; a son, Jeffrey Lewis Findley; and a great-grandson, Jeffrey Horne.

The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Voss & Sons Funeral Service with the Rev. Beth Ann Cook officiating. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday and from noon until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Rockford United Methodist Church or Schneck Hospital Guild.
