Paul David Manns, 66, of Hanover, passed away suddenly Saturday, March 18, 2017, at his home.

Born Aug. 19, 1950, in Deputy, he was the son of Burnice and Ethel Martin Manns, both of whom preceded him in death. He was married to Betsy “Kathy” Manns for 43 years before she passed away March 28, 2013.

Paul retired from Michelin in Scottsburg and Cummins Engine Co. in Columbus. He was a member and co-founder of Gospel Truth Ministry in Blocher.

Survivors include his daughter, Heather (Scott) Crites of Lexington; sons, Paul David (Cherese) Manns II of Madison and Todd Manns of Hanover; grandchildren, Travis, Paige, Aidan, Libby, Isabella, Ellie and Joshua David; great-grandchildren, Gavin and Addison; sisters, Helen Risk of Madison and Dorothy Faye Ramey of Scipio; and brothers, Seldon Manns of Scottsburg and AB Manns of Columbus.

Besides his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Lillian Bond Manns, Irene Maines, Catherine Kessler, Neva Howard and Sue Donna Leatherbury.

The funeral service will be at 7 p.m. Friday at Grayson Funeral Home in Hanover with Pastor Alan Ball officiating.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until time of service Friday at the funeral home.
