Paul Dale and Margaret Ann “Peggie” Ramp of Seymour will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary today with a family dinner hosted by their children.

They were married March 11, 1967, at First Church of Christ in Waynesville, Ohio, by Thomas Stevens. Their attendants were Eddie Ramp and Shirley Spencer.

Peggie is the daughter of the late Ruffie and Allie VanWinkle. Paul is the son of the late Albert and Mary Lou Ramp.

The couple have two children, Paul (Jennifer) Ramp of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Derek (Robin) Ramp of Seymour; and five grandchildren, Paul Elijah and Marileigh of Sacramento, California, Amelia of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Emma and Madelyn of Seymour.

Peggie retired from Ben Franklin and spent many years caring for her grandchildren. Paul served in the U.S. Navy and then retired from Texas Eastern Pipeline Co.
