Brownstown Christian Church plans to pack 5,000 meals for people in Haiti.
The hurricane in October left a devastating wake and an extreme shortage of food in the country, according to a news release from the church’s associate minister, Doug Pogue.
People will be packing meals from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the fellowship hall of the church at 703 W. Spring St., Brownstown.
Anyone is invited to participate.
