Pine Ridge Extension Homemakers

Sandi Hall led a Jeopardy-style lesson on citrus products when Pine Ridge Extension Homemakers met Feb. 21 at Lutheran Community Home in Seymour.

Members were rewarded for correct answers by gifts of fruit.

Eleven members responded to roll call by recalling memories of first loves.

Carolyn Krieger displayed the item she had purchased for the two backpacks the club will donate to Child Protective Services.

Meals on Wheels was delivered in February by Mary Ann Seaney. Norma Pollert will deliver on Pine Ridge’s March date.

Members spoke of ancestor memories for the citizenship lesson.

Hostess Adrene Wunder gave devotions on “Miracle of the Tablecloth.” She served brownies and cookies along with salty snacks. The hostess prize went to Doris Frey.

The next meeting will be at 1:30 p.m. March 28 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Seymour with Krieger as hostess. Dues of $13.50 will be collected, and officers for next year will be elected.
